We use a house cleaning checklist while cleaning houses.
These have always kept our staff focused on what needs to be done.

  • Bedrooms

    • Walls, vents, light fixtures and Moldings (dusted)
    • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork, door-frames and switch plates
    • Clean inside of windows
    • Windowsills cleaned
    • Blinds dusted and wipe down
    • Cobwebs removed
    • Ceiling fan blades (washed) (height restrictions apply)
    • Baseboards dusted and wipe down
    • Trash emptied
    • Floors vacuumed and/or washed (includes closets)
    • Vacuum all carpet crevices (crevice along the edge where bugs, animals, hair, and carpet fibers collect)

  • Kitchen

    • Walls, vents, light fixtures and Moldings (dusted)
    • Clean appliances inside and outside (Fridge, Oven and Microwave)
    • Thoroughly sweep and mop all bare floors (especially where appliances have been)
    • Stovetop and drip pans scrubbed
    • Range hood washed
    • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork, door-frames and switch plates
    • Countertops and backsplash disinfected (all items removed and replaced)
    • Shine and polish all knobs, handles, drains
    • Wipe down inside and outside of all Cabinet and Drawers
    • Sinks scrubbed and disinfected
    • Floor vacuumed and/or washed (crevice along the edge where bugs, animals, hairs and carpet fibers collect)
    • Windowsills cleaned
    • Clean inside of windows
    • Blinds dusted and wipe down
    • Cobwebs removed
    • Baseboards dusted and wipe down
    • Trash emptied

  • Bathrooms

    • Walls, vents, light fixtures and Moldings (dusted)
    • Tub and shower tiles scrubbed, disinfected and rinsed
    • Toilets disinfected insides and out
    • Chrome fixtures cleaned and shined
    • Mirrors cleaned
    • Countertops disinfected
    • Wipe down inside and outside of all Cabinet and Drawers
    • Sinks scrubbed and disinfected
    • Floors vacuumed and/or washed
    • Clean inside of Windows and Windowsills
    • Blinds dusted and wipe down
    • Baseboards dusted and wipe down
    • Cobwebs removed
    • Trash emptied

  • Other Living Areas

    • Walls, vents, light fixtures and Moldings (dusted)
    • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork, door-frames and switch plates
    • Ceiling fans blades (washed) (height restrictions apply)
    • Hardwood, Tile floors vacuumed and/or washed
    • Hallways and stairs vacuumed and/or washed
    • Carpets vacuumed (crevice along the edge where bugs, animals, hair, and carpet fibers collect)
    • Cobwebs removed
    • Windowsills and Window cleaned inside
    • Baseboards dusted
    • Trash emptied
    • General straightening complete

  • LAUNDRY

    • Clean washer and dryer exteriors
    • Clean lint traps
    • Empty wastebasket
    • Sweep and mop floor
    • Clean laundry sink and fixtures
